Little I knew that morning,

God was going to call your name,

in life we loved you dearly,

in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

you did not go alone,

for parts of me went with you,

the day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,

your love is still our guide,

and though we cannot see you,

you are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken,

and nothing seems the same,

but as God calls us one by one,

the chain will link again.

Celebrating the Life of Liberty Ledezma

Libby was a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  Libby was a natural athlete, she skied and snowboarded, loved dancing and just being around family and friends.

In her short life Libby lived a full  life. Liberty found friendships that lasted her lifetime.  She graduated high school in 2005 with the honor of the United States Presidential Achievement Award.

She traveled within the United States as well as the Caribbean and Japan.  She journeyed to see Pope Benedict and take part in World Youth Day in Cologne, Germany. Libby joined her entire family on a trip to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico for a holiday vacation. Family was a very important part of her life.

Liberty was at every family gathering and holiday. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly, she taught them all to call her ‘Auntie’ when she herself was very young.  Her greatest joy was being a mother.  Her daughter was the light of her life.

Liberty will be remembered best for her love of family and friends, as well as always finding a reason to smile and laugh
